Flux Pottery offers private wheel throwing lessons at its beautiful, cozy studio in Wortley Village

The private lesson package includes a series of four, two-hour lessons to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

Lessons can be tailored to your skill level, whether you are new to the craft, or already smitten with clay. If you are new to the craft, you can expect to learn basic pottery principles, including how to throw and trim a piece on the wheel, and the basics of glazing. For those already smitten, we can work together to develop a plan for advancing your skill. The goal of private lessons is skill advancement. You can expect to take home approximately five finished pieces at the conclusion of the lesson series.

A private lesson series is $480 plus HST. Price includes clay, glazes and firing.
